Andreas Berger

Dr. Andreas Berger is a physician in the Department of Gastroenterology at Ulm University, Germany. In addition to his general interest in Gastroenterology, Dr. Berger has a particular interest in gastrointestinal oncology. He is vice Coordinator of Gastrointestinal Oncology at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Ulm. He is involved as an investigator in several national and international clinical trials in GI Oncology including the coordination of translational research programs. Dr. Berger has a strong scientific interest in tumor heterogeneity, tumor evolution and the application of liquid biopsies in GI oncology.

Dr. Berger was born in Leipzig, Germany, in 1981. He completed his medical training at the University of Rostock, Germany, in 2009 and went on to complete his clinical training at Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and since 2012 at Ulm University.
